The film is set in the 1970s with Yash playing the role of a gangster who leaves Mumbai for the infamous gold fields of Kolar. “Yash dons the role of an ambitious gangster and the film narrates his rise and fall. The first chapter will show how his childhood shapes him into the gangster he becomes,” the film’s director Prashanth Neel told the Times of India.

Besides Yash, the film also stars debutant Srinidhi Shetty, Malavika Avinash, John Kokken and Achyuth Rao among others. Veteran actor Anant Nag will narrate the sequence of events in the film.

The makers of the film unveiled its first look, a poster showing Yash holding an axe with a grim face, during Deepavali. They followed it up with a grand trailer launch in Bengaluru.
