Amid the increasing clamor for churning out more and more visual spectacles such as ‘KGF 2’ and ‘RRR’ National Award-winning filmmaker Goutam Ghose feels there has to be a balance for the greater good of Indian cinema.

“While films like ‘RRR’, ‘Pushpa’ and ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ can influence the film industry to stay in the race amid a raging debate between the cinematic experience of OTT and big screen we can’t forget that cinema is also an art form. I think cinema is not only restricted to grand set pieces, scenes involving chaotic images, filled with action sequences, and heavy music.
