Chetan Kumar, known for films like ‘Aa Dinagalu’ and ‘Birugali’, might have drifted away from the film business a little but his popularity has surely grown in different regards. Besides being an actor, Chetan’s endeavors have been focusing mainly on social activism to sensitize issues like social disparity and justice, equality, and non-violence. And his real-life partner Megha, whom he tied the knot with exactly two years ago, is one of his most impassioned allies and supporters in the pursuits – interestingly, their marital journey too began on a rather special and noble note.
On this very day, February 1st of 2020, the two decided on tying the knot in a small, intimate ceremony at the sub-registrar’s office that was, reportedly, followed by a non-religious social ceremony in the presence of underprivileged kids, senior citizens, and a few colleagues from the film fraternity. The wedding ceremony, as per reports, was led by transgender activist Akkai Padmashali and the guests received a copy of the Indian constitution as a return gift!
