Movie Review: Masterpiece

Untitled design (63)

Wonder why an established star needs to have so much buildup and self-glorification going into the climax of a film. A little more concentration on the subject and character would have made Masterpiece a worthy addition to the impressive list of hits for Yash. His fans may still be in awe of this one but it is too much of playing to the gallery for others. The film has all the elements of a potboiler and fits the ‘commercial’ tag to a tee. At the same time, it is a disappointment if you go with the expectations created by Yash’s most recent films.

The pre-interval part of the film is a comical feast. Yash’s character Yuva wants to be a real-life villain and the incidents woven into the story does the job well.
