The second part of the historic epic drama ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ has hit the big screens today, April 28. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the movie features Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha and Aishwarya in lead roles. Aishwarya Lekshmi and Sobhitha Dhulipala also play in important roles. The music for the movie is composed by AR Rahman. ‘PS 2’ also marks the first movie to release in theatres in 4XD format, and the film is reportedly releasing on over 3200 screens worldwide. ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ made a box office collection of Rs 500 crore at the box office.
