The 2017 Lavalavike Readers Choice Awards were given away on Sunday to Sandalwood stars including Puneeth Rajkumar, Rashmika Mandanna and Chikkanna. The awards is constituted by the Vijaya Karnataka – Lavavalive team.

“Appaji (Rajkumar) would always say that fans are his gods. I am proud and happy to be receiving an award that is selected by the fans. An actor needs both rewards and awards. It is the claps of the audience and the awards that remain as memories of actors. So, the number of good films we are part of and the good awards that come our way are our biggest support. It is nice to be receiving the award from the hand of the readers and the newspaper distributors,” Puneeth said.
