Even after more than a month of its release, Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 1 is still going strong at the box office. In just 40 days of its release, KGF has done the unthinkable. Yes, the Yash starrer has outgrossed the biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema Baahubali 2: The Conclusion at the Karnataka box office. For those unaware, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer had collected Rs 129 crore and was the highest grossing film at the Karnataka box office. Beating that figure, Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 1 has made a solid Rs 134 crore and has now become the top film on its home turf.

And as far as the worldwide gross of the Yash starrer is concerned, it has made Rs 240.11 crore, according to the reports. In fact, reports also state that the movie will see a rare re-release at the US box office as at the time of its release the movie did fairly well but couldn’t capitalise much due to a barrage of releases. But, as there is less flow of releases there, the distributors have requested a re-release. It is to be seen if KGF: Chapter 1 makes an impact in the re-release and its worldwide gross goes past Rs 250 crore mark or not. Though it seems unlikely.
